Guest guest
Did it help you lose weight or at least tone up? -- Winsor Pilates I used to do these regularly for about 6 months. It was my first introduction to Pilates and I found the information in them to be interesting and informative. I got bored with them though. Right now I prefer Pilates work with a twist (like the standing exercises or using the ball or Pilates mixed in with other stuff) I’m sure I will go back to them sometimes. I consider them a very good introduction to Pilates matwork and modifications that can be done if you aren’t as strong or have a weak neck. And I still consider them a good workout I just want more of a fun factor in my workouts.
Guest guest
I did it for 6 months after giving birth and it helped tone the abs area. I’m not sure if it helped lose weight because weight is rather easy for me to lose right after giving birth. I did feel the abs area was stronger and the legs to some extent (I usually have pretty strong legs anyway) I also use the information as a guide for other Pilates tapes which are not full of information. If you know a lot about Pilates it is probably best to go with the advanced workout where things aren’t explained as well. But this was my first venture into Pilates so I needed the instruction. I found the beginner workouts great for weak abs and as I got stronger. And the more I learned the better the workout. I will still do them when I have a free 15 minutes that I want to fill. At some point I found myself doing the workout even without listening to the tapes and right after that I got bored. Guest guest
HI , that is what I did. I actually wrote down all the moves and did it without the tape. I only used the tape for 1 month and thereafter I did not used the tape. I think that she explained it too much and I just got bored of hearing her and she took too long. Anyhoo, I think that I am going to start up again. The reason I asked if it helped you to lose weight is because I was on a low Carb diet and I lost weight very fast and put it back on just as fast so I'm not sure if it was the workout or just the low carb. Thanks for writing back and I hope to ttyl Blessings, Kay Helpmeet to *BRIAN* and Homeschooling Mom to 4 and Angelo 2 -- Winsor Pilates I used to do these regularly for about 6 months.
