Hi Everyone,

I am posting 2 brief things.

I want to thank all of the new members for their membership blurbs. As you all

know, we

require everyone who asks to join our group to write something that proves they

are non-

spamming creatures. Having been fooled of late, we added a new requirement; to

use the

word - or a word containing " SPROUT " within this application for membership.

This has

not only helped distinguish the earnest from the loathsome, it has had the added

bonus of

brightening my day. The blurbs are now more entertaining than ever. Thank you

for your

sense of humor and for understanding this " demand " of ours. Welcome to the

group!

The other bit is sales oriented. As you know also, I dislike hawking our goods.

Being a

salesman is not my joy, but it is part of my life as a result of being a person

(male in my

case) who sells stuff. As much as I dislike using the group to do so, I feel I

would be

remiss if I failed to tell you that we are having our first ever Holiday Sale.

Through Christmas Eve we discount every order of $50 or more. It's a sliding

scale - the

more you get, the better the discount. It tops out at 10% at (or over) $100.

These are - to say the least - very trying times economically. We too are

feeling the pinch.
