Absolutely amazing: Congress is holding hearings to investigate the TSA's airport scanners this week, but the TSA initially refused to testify today, and only showed up after Congress met TSA administrators' demands that they not be seated with their critics.

This comes days after the TSA admitted that it botched its tests of how much radiation is emitted by its airport scanners: The real levels are TEN TIMES higher than first thought! We probably shouldn't be surprised -- a December investigation revealed that the TSA was lying about who had reviewed the safety of the scanners to begin with.

[2]The House Government Affairs Committee is holding hearings on the scanners this week. Will you urge the Committee to ban them?

The TSA is violating our rights, zapping us with X-rays that could cause cancer, slowing down lines, and probably making Americans less safe by compelling more people to drive long distances instead of flying. This week's hearing is a chance to hold the TSA accountable:
