Thank you, Katy, for your prayers.  We need all the help we can get

:-)

The dog has no fleas and her environment can't be any cleaner than

it is, her food can't get any more natural, all water she is given

is filtered and the same water I drink.  She is walked daily, long

walks, sometimes twice, and gets one on one attention out in the

yard in the form of play at various intervals each day that equal at

least 2 hours or more.

She came to us at approx 6 weeks and within 2 days I noticed the

urinary problem, which the vet diagnosed at UTI.  When we did some

checking, we found out the woman that sold my daughter the puppy had

the mother and litter under her front porch, which of course was all

dirt.  I believe the mother had the pups in an old plastic swimming

pool. This pup was the runt of the litter.  The owner fed the

puppies Puppy Chow, I believe, or some other very cheap brand like

that.

Urinary tract infections can

be very dangerous to the dog's health. I had

a beloved dog die of it. Getting ahead of

the problem is important. Vets will give you

antibiotics for your dog, but I believe

herbs are better.  If you are experiencing a

flea problem at the same time, use DE or

something natural [DE is really best].  Make

sure the dog has plenty of filtered water.

Make all of it's life cleaner and more

natural.  I was a child when my dog died, my

parents didn't want to spend any $ on him,

so they just let him get sicker and sicker

before going to the vet.  Since then, I'm

very over-protective of my dogs, at the

first sign of trouble, I investigate the

symptoms and treat naturally.   I don't use

poison's or drugs if at all possible.  The

babies get DE in their water and fresh whole

foods.

I'm so sorry your dog is sick.  I'd be so

upset. In fact I'm upset about your dog, I

hope you don't mind, but I'm praying for it.

I'm so sorry, puppies are very vulnerable. I hope you caught it in time.

I'm sorry but her food can get cleaner. Take away the dried. Even if it's a "good" brand, it is not a natural food for dogs.

Start reading up on the BARF diet. It's all about raw meat and bones. Or search out a woman name of Nora Lenz. She's in my area of Washington state and very knowledgeable of feeding pets raw. And she's been all raw herself for a number of years.

I'm saying a prayer for the pup as well.
