Guest guest
Thanks for sending that article. I read the whole thing and just sent an email asking the company I bought supplements from, where their raw ingredients are sourced from since the country of origin is not listed anywhere. Only the formula and packaging in this country. Their name states Purity in it but who knows if that's true if we don't know the beginnings of the contents of the capsules. I will check back when/if I have a reply; but that's only one company, isn't it? Where does all the rest of the stuff come from, and as this article stated, there is so little that is actually inspected as to the quality and purity. How many people have actually lost their lives due to bad ingredients. So sad and so inexcusable. Sanr This article tells about drugs and supplements coming from China - it's from the " Center for Medicine in the Public Interest " . The article is from Nov. 2010. I remember reading a different article a short while ago that said something about 80% to 90% of the ingredients are now coming from China. I'll post that if I find it -- http://www.cmpi.org/in-the-news/in-the-news/drugs-supplements-come-to-u-s-from-c\ hina-largely-unregulated-/ Carol > Is that true with all supplements bought from any manufacturer here? So > all or most of my vitamin and mineral supplements are sourced from China, > unless they specifically state otherwise? That is a little scary; also > some are very expensive to be coming from the same place as the lesser > expensive ones. So basically we are just paying for a brand name? > Sanr ------------------------------------
