Guest guest
Tell her to check with St. Luke's, Research Hosp or KU Med - at one time, all those hospitals had certified nurse midwives and a doula or two on staff. There was also an office at 177th & Nall that had certified nurse midwives on staff that were available for home births. Guest guest
Suzi - Sorry, that should read "117th & Nall" and NOT 177th & Nall. 117th & Nall is right in the heart of "medical clinic" territory, allopathic and others. 177th is probably still out in the sticks :-) On 2/14/2011 7:22 PM, Landes wrote: Tell her to check with St. Luke's, Research Hosp or KU Med - at one time, all those hospitals had certified nurse midwives and a doula or two on staff.
