Guest guest
I used one for my back when I was diagnosed with osteo orthritis. Used it regularly for a couple of months. It helped while it was on, but the relief didn't last after it was removed. But everyone is different. Exactly why this occurs is not known – it may jam the normal pain signal or induce the brain to generate pain inhibiting endorphins. After the signal is removed the affect can, in some cases, last for several hours or the pain can return almost immediately. It does not do anything to alleviate the underlying cause of the pain, so the pain will return after the device is deactivated. The implantable devices utilizes the same principle. Since they are inside the body, the signal levels are a lot lower and they deliver their signal continuously for many years without being replaced. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for their replies. I currently use one every week at my chiro office, however it is a large permanent use unit. I was looking for any brand recommendations to purchase one for home /portable use. I have been doing a lot of research on google, but was looking for personal experiences. thanks > I would like to purchase a portable TENS /EMS unit. Does anyone have experience in using/buying a portable/home use system. The LG Medical ones look nice, but there are a lot of bad reviews of the company. Any input would be appreciated. > Thank you! > > -------------------------------------------------------------------- myhosting.com - Premium Microsoft® Windows® and Linux web and application hosting - http://link.myhosting.com/myhosting
