Guest guest
You didn't ask? I have no idea, but I would be checking things out, especially the last one as it is astronomically high. Please let us know what you find out. I am very interested. Shari
Guest guest
I don't know if the cancer antigen is for this particular one or not. You can read about it here: http://search.lef.org/cgi-src-bin/MsmGo.exe?grab_id=0 & page_id=3041 & query=ca%20125 & hiword=125%20ca For the carbohydrate antigen: http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/ItemLC002261/Carbohydrate-Antigen-199-Blood-Test.html Both of them being high indicate something is up. I'd see a health professional to get a diagnosis before I started treating myself (or letting anyone else) for what may be the wrong condition. Guest guest
A competent doctor would require a retest immediately. Labs sometimes goof. Guest guest
I couldn't ask the doctor because I went to this office only to fill out a medical report that I needed in order to get a new Guide Dog. There were several doctors assisting the chief doctor and they made me many problems because I have ovarian cysts and they wanted to do lots of tests. I refused because I don't want to have surgery. Well, it's a long story. They even wanted to give me some vaccines. I got out of there as soon as possible. Finally I got all the papers I need and I hope to attend the April class.. After asking the question to the list I searched in the internet and I found the following: The cancer antigen is a test that may or may not show ovarian cancer. It's not accurate, because the elevation can be due also to ovarian cysts, pregnancy, and even menstruation. The carbohydrate antigen is another test to show if there's cancer in pancreas or colon. It's not accurate either, and can be high due to gallbladder problems, and I have stones. I didn't find out about the potassium yet. Now, I'm trying to learn how to lower these values naturally. In a few words, I continue trying to eliminate the cysts and the stones. Rena Re: Important question about lab test please You didn't ask?
