Guest guest
Only one of my supplements come from someone other than Swanson's now. That one exception is Walmart store or online. I literally cannot find what I need, anywhere else. A prenatal vitamin with 150% of your supposed daily iron. Even then, I have to take two of them. I suppose I could do the research to find out which iron supplement comes closest to 300% daily MDA limit and then go with a regular multivitamin, but this works for me. So far! Why not an iron supplement at this time? Seems our family can't tolerate most iron supplements. It gives us the explosive runs, versus the norm of being blocked up. The doc once prescribed an iron supplement for dad once when he was in the hospital. Three aides, two nurses, a doctor and my dad, were all covered in it, before dad finished and they got everything changed multiple times. He couldn't hit the bathroom, as he was tied to the bed by all the tubes and stuff in and on him. Hey, dad told the doc, but he didn't believe him. He does now though. Dad was laughing so hard when he told me this, that the nurse came in to see what was wrong. Yeah, he made it sound like it was a big joke on everyone! Now you know why our family takes no separate iron supplements.
