Guest guest
Hello All, Thank you for having this wonderful group. I am overwhelemd at the amount of information and find I am spending way too much time a the computer nowadays I have been studying aromatherapy for many years as well as complimentary natural medicine. I have just started into the wonderful world of natural perfumery as I find this adds to my natural obsession of the wonderful aromas. I am in the process of taking Mandy Aftel course and am loving it. I believe I have seen Canadian Fir on the Enfleurage site, though don't remember if it is an essential oil or absolute? might be a place to check. My question is on a book I have come across on the Allured site called Flower oils and Foral compounds in Perfumery. Has anyone read this? is a helpful book in natural perfumery? it is on sale thru today and I am just wondering about it. Thanks for letting me come aboard Florida

It disucusses the production methods of a number of floral absolutes (and a couple of oils), but it is primarily a book describing the recreation of florals using aroma chemicals. I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to focus solely on natural perfumery. Steve Earl Glen Custom Perfumery

Now I think I will look closer at the Perfume and Flavor materials of Natural Origin and see where that leads me. Thanks again ~ > > > > > > > >
