Well I was thinking heat rash til you said you didn't think it was,

hehe. But I would still guess it could very well be a heat rash,

esp. if she is sweating a lot in her band which she probably is being

it's only day 4. Try putting hydrocortizone cream on it to see if

that helps. Heat rashes is quite common with bands. Good luck.

Thanks Debbie,

You are probably right about the heat rash. She is still sweating quite

a bit.

Thanks for your help!

Hi My daughter Mya gets rashes under her band quite often. Cranial

tech told me to use hydrocortizone on it and for most of the rashes

that worked. But there was one particular rash on her forhead that

just got bigger and bigger and redder so they had me leave her out of

her band for a couple days till it healed up. They also gave me a

name of a powder I picked up at the pharmacy at Walmart that I could

rub in the band to decrease the sweating. Also make sure you are

towel drying her head and band often if she is sweating. I know you

said it was cool there but she still could be sweating a lot because

her body is adjusting to having that band on. Good luck! I know how

frustrating it is when you first get the band. This group has been

great for me. And now we are 3 months into it and seeing such great

improvement its all worth it! Keep us posted!
