Guest guest
Amy, I saw your post and know how you feel.. My daughter and I were featured in the Plain Dealer in Cleveland and the article ended up with a negative slant because we also were sort of pitted against the two doctors that were quoted in the article. They both were very anti band..and then there was the cute picture of my daughter in her band. What did the public think..that I was an hysterical mother who put my daughter in this ridiculous band for nothing? The one doctor said " its a cosmetic thing " and the other basically said " these Moms should be thankful there kids dont have brain tumors " Can you believe this? I was vindicated as I was copied on a lot of letters to the editor, to the journalist, and to the doctors calling them callous jerks!
