Guest guest
http://www.wral.com/News/1505157/detail.html i thought the story was ok. the doctor that they interviewed was the same guy we first took emma to see. he's the one who was totally patronizing about my efforts to reposition saying things like, " i know, it's so hard for the mothers, " ... " getting the helmet is so much easier on the parents, " etc. He never even held emma or measured her asymmetry, but just said " come back and see me in a month. " he sited that same study where the children who did not receive the bands ended up with the same amount of correction. i ended up taking emma to see a craniofacial surgeon and never went back to see dr. Fuchs. anyway, they only used about 1/10 of what i said, but i'm glad their focus was on repositioning and prevention. all in all, i'm glad the word is getting out. amy mom to emma (DOC Band 5/6/02)

Guest guest
Amy, I thought the story was really good. It really stresses the importance of repositioning and tummy time and that is a very important thing. Emma looks adorable and very happy in her band!
