Guest guest
I think with my next child, if I'm blessed to have another, I will alternate left side, back, right side, left side, back, right side, etc. sleeping positions. Side sleeping is considered almost as safe as back sleeping (I think differences in studies has been very small...someone here probably has that stat?). Anyone else going to do this? Or have done this? Grant never spent time in bouncy seats, swings, etc. He was in his carseat in the car and only rarely carried in it to go to restaurants when he was very small...even then we held him most of the time...it really was his sleep position (torticollis coupled with back sleeping) that did him in. , Mom to Grant (born 9/26/01) ...in DOCband since 6/14/
Guest guest
, Our ped told us to side sleep our daughter. He told us to alternate sides and that is what we did. preferred looking only one direction which was her main problem. If I ever have another baby I will alternate sides, but I will also encourage tons of tummy time and watch to make sure her head also alternates sides.
