Yes, another insurance question. Are you guys tired of me yet? :o)

United Healthcare is telling me because CT is out of network, they will only cover 70%. My actual certificate of insurance states that we MAY be eligible for in-network coverage if the referring doc is in network, which he is. CT is the only place in my area who fits these bands (I think).

Do any of you have experience with 1.) having ONLY an out-of-network service provider and 2.) people on the phone telling you things that are different than your actual insurance certificate?

We haven't even begun treatment and I am already beginning to understand what all of you are going through. Geesh!
