Guest guest
- Dane just had his 9 month checkup yesterday! Were there openings on the helmet where the bumps are? Dane had a ridge where his buckle was, but it's clearing up well. He has been out of his band since 5/16. Tell your mom to stuff a sock in it! I'm sure nobody would notice it if it wasn't pointed out! Congrats on the tort being resolved! Dane's mom DOC Grad > Hi all~ Grace went in for her 9 month check today. How fast time > flies! Guest guest
~ Yes there were openings above each ear. My husband said that he thinks they are already starting to go down but I look at her head 24/7 and I guess I can't see the improvement. And I guess my mom can't either! ha ha I like that "put a sock in it" idea. And I have asked her before not to pick on Grace's head because it makes me feel bad but I guess she just can't help herself. I told my husband last night that I don't want to be critical of Grace the way my mom is of her and how she was on my brother and I. And now I am feeling like I am starting to do that when I sit there and examine her head!!! I guess I need to patient with those lumps and eventually they will start to go down and Grace
Guest guest
: I don't ever recall hearing them described as " boney protrusions " . This would have my worry wart self concerned as well. We do have several posts usually about DOCband babies developing a " bump " over where the band's velcro closure is, but this is described as water retention that I have always heard goes away usually w/i 2 wks post graduation. I read your later post too where you think you've noticed the bumps decreasing. I would suggest, just like with flat heads, taking wkly pictures of these bumps to see if they do in fact decrease in size over the next few wks or so. Becuz we all know how our mommy minds work!!!! Please keep us posted on this. Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > Hi all~ Grace went in for her 9 month check today. How fast time > flies!
