I don't know what the policies are regarding posting ads here, but I thought

this was a support group for parents. I have a home business, but I never post

ads here. The most I do is post my website in my signature when I'm answering

or posting my questions.

Is there a policy in place? Should there be if there's not? This is the

second ad I've seen this week, and I've never seen one before. Does anyone

else have an opinion on this?

news groups just as you are right now and came across a article

Velma -

I emailed this lady to see if she had a child with plagiocephaly or

her intend was just to spam us. She never responded. That tells me

what her response on that is!

I personally don't care if anyone in the group says what they do for

a living. I just don't think it's right for people to go around

joining groups only to spam the members. I moderate a breastfeeding

support group and when that happens (which is rare), I delete the

message and kick them out. There are active moms on the list who

have home businesses and we buy from each other, but that list has

only 30 members, so we are familiar with each other.

Of course, I am not a moderator here, this is just my .02. I don't

know what the policies are.

Velma:

SPAM is not allowed in our group. There have been 2 SPAM posts

posted in our group this week, both of those " members " have been

banned from sending any more email to the group & the messages have

been deleted off the board.

What you do is fine...you have a plagio baby after all ;)

Thank you for clarifying this Debbie - we cannot stop the spam before it

comes, but in each and every case those people are banned and will not be

able to post here again.
