Guest guest
ann, That's great that the PT works for EI! You know you'll be in good hands! too hated tummy time. The EI people who came here had heard of the DOCband but never actually seen it. I showed them pictures of it. You can ask Charlotte if your doing the tort exercises right. I'm going to print pictures off of a web site that told me about,(tort exer.)and bring it in to Charlotte (at her request) for her to go over them with me. It's been so long since I've had to do them, that I forgot them! I think I waited 2 weeks for an appointment. An EI worker came first and asked a lot of questions. She then called the EI office and made an appt. for the PT and the Sp.Ed. teacher to come here. That took one week. They're coming back (all 3 of them) on Wed. to set up a schedule with me. I'll know then how often they'll be coming to work with . Do you think is delayed? > > > Our OT, Charlotte, at CT told us that there are some findings that > > there could > > > be problems with fine motor skills, even later on, if crawling is > > skipped. > > > The example she gave us was problems with handwriting. does > > > not crawl yet (he's 8.5 months).
