I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with the insurance co.

It's very unfortunate that your dr considers the condition cosmetic - many

specialists would disagree with this.

I did not have Pacificare, but we did have to fight tooth and nail with the

insurance co. We ended up getting the helmet without insurance help (thanks

to my mom!) and 6 months later (AFTER was finished with the therapy)

the denial was overturned and they paid!

I wish I had some good advice, but if you feel that your baby needs the band

and you can handle the expense I would band and fight the insurance while

your baby is undergoing the treatment.
