So good to hear that your daughter is doing well with her helmet and that you

are seeing improvement. That's great news!

I'm sorry to hear about the insurance trouble, but it is an all too common

thing around here. We have several members who have appealed and won against

Cigna and then we have some (poor Trisha) who have been struggling against

Cigna with no luck. Definitely stick with the appeal process because these

decisions can be overturned. Have you gotten a letter of medical necessity

from your specialist? We fought our insurance company for months and months.

We exhausted all appeal levels and finally won by sending our claim to an

external review board. We received compensation a month or two AFTER

was complete finished with her helmet!
