Guest guest
hey darcy glad you found a bargain on one. did they have some used plated at play it again sports??? maybe the person that brought them the bar may have thrown some plates in that deal as well but we know they won't sell them together b/c they can squeeze out a couple more cents selling separatley. are your plates to loose on them or they won't get on there at all? some of my plates fit a little loose but as long as they stay on and bring the clip collar as close to the plate as possible they won't shift to much. kassiaDarcy Ledman <exercise.junkie@...> wrote: Kassia, Thank you for your suggestion.. I stopped at Play It Again Sports on Saturday and found a barbell!! They had ONE used one for $10 So, I was pretty tickled. I bought the collars separately. However, the generic plastic discs that I have at home don't fit it! Well, some do and some don't. Isn't that crazy??? The bar that they were on is slightly under an inch... So, now I must find some decent discs. My buying spree is neverending!! Darcy Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with . Guest guest
I checked out their plates, but they didn't look very good. They were rusty and old looking. They won't go on at all. The plates are too small Thanks for your thoughts anyway though. I think I will just watch around here locally and see if a set comes up for sale, or else I will check there again.
