UHC is my archenemy. They denied us because of an othotics

exclusion. We lost all of our appeals and then also lost the

external review with the Ohio Dept of Ins (ODI).

Why are they denying you? Others have had luck battling them. We

just didn't have any success because of the orthotics exclusion.

We are still trying to decide how to proceed. If we sue, we will

end up paying more in legal fees than the band cost. I love to

prove points, but we don't have a lot of cash available to stick it

to them!

Hey ,

The way I understand it, and I definitely could be wrong, is that if you sue

and win, UHC would have to pay not only the cost of the band, but all the

legal fees that you incur. It would be worth looking in to...
