Guest guest
All of my communication with the DOI has been vias email, so I have copies of everything If your atty is Bill Fyne, I have spoken with him already. He is quite wonderful! He is handling cases that are denied for cosmetic reasons. We are being denied because of an orthotics exclusion. UHC considers the DOC Band to be DME unless you have an orthotics exclusion and then conveniently it becomes an orthotic. I believe my brother said the next step is the US Dept of Labor since our insurance policy is through dh's work. I plan on filing against the Cleveland Clinic when we return from our vacation. They told us repeatedly to only lay Dane on his right side. As a result he got positional tort and plagio. We only have a year from the date of malpractice to file and I doubt all of this will be resolved by September. I hate the thought of a malpractice suit. Our pediatrician will have to testify. Not many things intimidate me, but asking her to do that makes me a bit apprehensive! Dane's mom DOC Grad > > I just got a letter from the ODI. We lost our external review. > > I am a bit confused.
