Sounds like you have really done your homework! That's great! It's unfortunate

that people are left to flounder around on their own when it comes to insurance.

It can be soooo confusing and the insurance company is not always helpful to its

customers.

It sounds like you are on the right track. The STARband is an excellent product

when you find an ortho that is experienced and skilled. Make sure you interview

the orthos you found and see what kind of background they have. The other good

news about that is that the STARband is usually considerably cheaper so if you

have to pay any upfront costs while waiting for the insurance company to do the

right thing your out of pocket expense won't be so high. On the flip side, you

are pretty much assured of having a good experience with CT so gathering info on

them isn't as significant. They know what they are doing and bands is ALL that

they do.

Yikes! I wouldn't have been comfortable with that resonse either!!! Hopefully
