My denial was based on the insurance

co. stating my son was not born with the plagiocephaly and therefore

there was no proof that he would have any functional impairment. I

provided them in my appeal with my son's birth chart which stated

asymmetrical headshape and facial asymmetry. I also provided Infants

and Toddlers chart showing torticollis assessment, as well as

anything else I could find that documented it from birth. A friend

of mine actually got her obgyn's notes showing how she was carrying

the baby very low in her pelvic region for the last part of the

pregnancy and used that to argue that there was lot of pressure on

his head inutero. Hope this helps

==>No, I don't get tested because I'm not concerned about my vitamin

or minerals levels. I know I'm providing my body with the nutrients

it requires, so it will balance itself naturally. I feel good and I

am healthy so what better test is there than that? It's the medicos

who promote the " fear factor, " making us think " there may be

something wrong " and you won't know for sure unless you get tested.

I don't believe nutrient tests are necessarily accurate because there

is so much we do not know about them. How could levels of nutrients

be accurately established since they all work in unison? Testing

isolated nutrients without taking into consideration " all " nutrients

can provide a wrong picture of a person's intake, particularly when

it comes to oil soluble substances (essential fatty acids, " good "

fats, and vitamins A, D, E, etc.), all minerals, not just calcium,

zinc, magnesium, potassium, etc. I don't even know if protein levels

can be tested.

==>I believe the body responds appropriately to any situation, and it

is the medicos that turn those natural responses into diseases. And

they label and treat those natural responses instead of treating the

cause. Your body had to do something to counteract the steriods

which are poisonous. Once your body levelled out after stopping

steroids there should be no fear of having Cushing's Syndrome. Even

if you still have higher cortisol levels there is a reason your body

is producing it, and now it may be due to candida which causes

endocrine malfunctions.

==>I'd love to move in with you ! I'm still having a problem

living in my new home, so if your place is warm it would be a

pleasant needed change for me. Now my " supposed " friend of 37 years

insists on turning " off " the heat at night, and she refuses to close

down the vents in her bedroom, so I can be warm downstairs. :( It is

such a sad situation.
