Hi ,

is a cutie. I can see some flatness, but it is so hard to tell from

photos that I would hate to make a call as to severity!

He's a cutie patootie for sure!

I hope i'm not coming across as rude or anything..but yesterday i sent in a

lot of pictures of 's head and asked for opinions..and only 2 people

answered me....and i had sent in additional pictures and no one answered me.

I know i don't respond much...there are a lot of posts...but i guess i was

hoping for more of a response....i'm curious as to what people think on the

severity of 's flatness.

I had even offered that if people couldn't tell from the pictures i

sent..that i can try to have my husband take better pictures...and i know i

only sent them in yesterday...but i was just hoping that there would be some

responses...maybe from some experienced mommies that have gone through this

or are going through this now...

Again, i really hope i'm not coming across as rude or anything....

I can understand that...i'm new too..and i guess that's why i don't respond much..

I guess i know it's not mild...but i think i'm just hoping it will get better on it's own.

I went to a specialist about 3 weeks ago...and he said will probably get a helmet..but to try to reposition him for a month...b/c he was 4 months then and the dr said he was just learning neck and head control..so he didn't want to do the helmet just then..but that if there is no significant difference by my next appt (which is July 10th) then we will do the helmet.

I think i will probably be referred to a place in Paramus, NJ (i live real close to there). I know he probably needs the helmet..but i was so hoping he wouldn't. The dr did say that if he got the helmet..he would probably need to wear it about 6-8 weeks...so i guess it's not that bad..although we are right in the middle of the hot summer...

Thanks a lot for respoding and giving me your opinion!!

I don't think your coming across as rude, I think your coming across

as concerned! I didn't respond to your post because I too am new here.

I looked at your adorable son's pictures and yes, I do see the

flatness. I don't know to what degree his plagio is, but in my

opinion I'd say he's definitely not mild. Do you have an appointment

to see a specialist? If your close to a CT clinic you can make an

appointment for a free consult.

Please keep us posted.

, I can't speak for everyone, but I couldn't view any of the pics. I

think they were a zip file, and I haven't downloaded whatever is needed to

view them. If you can send them again as a JPEG, maybe more people can see

them.

I was looking at the pictures and asked for the second set and then

couldn't get back on to post-sorry that is rude of me but we have 2 Fourth of

July parties and company so it has been a little crazy. He is a cutie pie- I

am not good at judging severity (particularly because I didn't want to

believe had severe flatness and I am still wondering about ) but

I would think that would be moderate you can certainly see the

flatness are his ears off or is it just his head angle int he one picture?

Was there is a facial shot and I missed it?

That's ok Beck..i totally understand.

I also agree that he is moderate. I don't think there is any misalignment with

his ears...that's what the dr had said at the last appt..although i'm sure it

could've changed...but i do think i took some pictures at an agle. He was

playing on the floor and i was trying to get pictures of him...

His right side of his head is flatter...so you can see the back of his ear more

(i don't know if that makes sense..lol)...but i'll find out for sure on

Wednesday!!

Thanks so much!
