Guest guest
ann: You are doing the right thing by keeping the band off tonite while he sleeps. I would do the same thing. You don't want it to be too tight while he sleeps & hurt his skin in any way. As for the crookedness, is the band shifting some becuz it might be a bit loose (normal for the 1st wk or 2 in a band)? Or is it always looking crooked? It sounds like a couple adjustments might be needed. This is common in the first wks, it's so hard to get that perfect fit on a baby's head. It will get better, trust me! I'd maybe give Charlotte a call tomorrow morning, or tomorrow afternoon if the pink/red spots still appear while the band is off. I know how eager you are to get his head rounding, but you are right by keeping it off at night right now! I hope tomorrow gets a little better. If your husband needs some cheering up, send him into the group! What could be better than having a bunch of ladies to talk to?? LOL. Let us know how tomorrow or the weekend goes. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi ann, I unfortunately don't have any words of wisdom for you. I'm so sorry this is happening. I don't think your doing the wrong thing by not having sleep in his band. When the fit is RIGHT then have him sleep in it. I've read many, many posts about it taking a few adjustments before the fit is just right! I wish somebody would post as to WHY this happens! I'm getting very scared as July 3 is approaching quickly. I'm terrified that I'm NOT going to be able to see where the red spots are on . She has very fine hair but A LOT of it. I really hate the situation we're in right now. I can't wait for all of this to be over. I feel like I failed . She is my 5th child.... I feel I should of known better. This NEVER should of happened to her. I don't like feeling like this. I'm sorry, but this makes me crazy. I hope Charlotte is able to get the fit perfect for ! I think it's great, that she gave you her cell phone number. Please keep us posted as to how is doing. > Thank you all so much for your kind words and comforting support. Being > a part of this group is making this journey much easier.
