Guest guest
Hi Beck Dylan is a little bugger!! Too True!! I had the strap lengthend and on the way back in the van he'd done it he'd took it off and was grinning at me and then threw the DOCband on the floor!! I will have to try the duct tape as he is taking it off all the time. I think he knows it winds me up as he grins and starts touching the velcro playing with it and then finally takes the DOCband off. I know its proberly because hes 16months now but hes a right little monkey!! I definatley have my hands full with him. I did get him to take 2 steps on monday night so i am hoping he will start walking soon!! Take care beck and i will let u know how i get on with the tape!! LOL Kerry, What a smarty pants! I love it! I don't know what else you could try- I know I've heard other moms with this problem, maybe someone can chime in and give you a good trick- is it that loose that he can slip it off, or is he pulling off the duct tape and undoing the velcro? Guest guest
Kerry what a devil of a boy-cheeky grin- I love it. Sorry don't mean to be amused by your frustration-okay here is a thought could be a bad one could be a good one but for whatever reason I will throw it out there. If he loves taking it off maybe you could get some of that Velcro that sticks on like tape and put that over the duct tape and then Velcro a couple of toys animals nerf balls whatever to that and he can pull those off and maybe be a little more amused?? I don't know may work-it would be like a surprise. Reallystretching it I know but anything to try and keep it on- right? beck

Guest guest
Thanks I had a good day we went for a family walk on fish creek park where marcus decided to sit in the creek - he was wet but loved it. We put Dylan in a backpack carrier and that helped loads. At the moment i am having a battle of wills with Dylan as he keeps taking the DOCband off and throwing it!! I have put duct tape on and it does stop him for a while. He knows what he is doing though - he gives me a massive cheeky grin and then points to his DOCband on the floor!!! LOL Will keep you updated. They make you laugh so much he has hardly any words but understands alot more than i realised!!LOL Take care and thanks Kerry - Marcus (3) Dylan (17months) Calgary,AB In Plagiocephaly@y..., rella1234@a... wrote: > In a message dated 7/8/2002 12:24:09 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > kerry_jg@h... writes: > > > > He knows what he is > > doing though - he gives me a massive cheeky grin and then points to his > > DOCband on the floor!!!
