Guest guest
Ellen, saw an eye doctor of some sort. It wasn't really who my specialist wanted me to see so and the guy was CLUELESS about plagio so it was really a wasted visit. My specialist wanted me to go to a pediatric specialist, but insurance wouldn't cover him because he was out-of-network. My specialist typically has a " vision field neglect " done on all of his plagio patients. He says that many plagio babies have this condition and that the eval. is often helpful in getting insurance approval because it shows a medical condition being related to the plagio. That's all I know about it!! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
Guest guest
Has anyone had any experiences with ophthalmology, orthopedic docs? We go on fri. to have vision assessed and to an orthopedic dr. to coordinate care at Children's Hospital of Phila. Amy has a DOC Band and going to PT at CHOP for torticollis. Are there questions we should be asking these docs? I've researched plagio. & tort. but feel unprepared to ask the right things for our appts. to these other specialists.
