Niki,

I worry about things like that also, and my husband thinks I'm nuts. He

just doesn't understand, but I can see that you do! I used to always put

Sam in front because Sara always went to sleep, but now that they are so

alert and looking around while in the stroller, I tend to put Sara in front.

I think the stroller manufacturers say to put the heavier child in back, and

that is definitely Sam. I think it really makes a difference in how the

stroller steers. I totally know what you mean about treating them equal.

Sam is such a comedian that he tends to get more " play " time from others,

especially Daddy. Sara is more whiny, so no one likes to play with her.

The good thing is that big sister prefers Sara right now, so they have

a special relationship, and Sam is so easy going that he doesn't care if

he's left in a room by himself, as long as there are toys or the dog!

My big dilema is which side of the van do I put them on. Sara graduated

from her band first, and since she still preferred to look right, I put her

on the drivers' side so that she would look left to see in the back

seat on the passenger side. Now Sam is out of his band and likes to look

right as well. So should I switch them? It's a source of constant concern.

I also worry about which one to carry downstairs first in the morning.

They're almost too big to carry together, so I'm starting to leave one

behind while I carry the other downstairs. But hey, I get more exercise by

making the extra trips up and down the stairs!
