Guest guest
Yoki, I'd be very careful with it if I were you. Usually when I've tried to make tinctures with resinous materials, I'd end up with a really sticky mess. Also dragon's blood resin was traditionally used to dye monks' robes because it will stain like crazy. This doesn't sound like something I'd want to have in my cologne, even though I adore the scent of dragons' blood burning on a lit charcoal. I also bought alleged dragon's blood EO a while back, but I don't remember who it was from. It was simply the resin crushed up and added to some type of carrier oil. It was absolutely useless. As for the other resinous materials I do use in perfumery, such as mastic, frankincense, myrrh, etc., true EOs (at least as far as I'm able to ascertain without lab equipment, etc.,) are available for them that are wonderful. Best wishes, W.
