Hi Everyone!

Ugh! My allergies have kicked in! Lots

of stuff is blooming now and I've been outside quite a

bit playing with my dd at various playgrounds. I feel

so out of it and yicky. I hope this passes soon.

I did my TJ Cardio Party Remix this morning. I had

planned to do the hi/lo portion of Max Intensity

Cardio, but I couldn't bring myself to do it with the

way I was feeling (stuffy, achey and generally out of

it!) with my allergies. That one doesn't have much

fun factor so it is a tough one to gear up for on the

best of days. So, fortunately, TJ Cardio Party Remix

was waiting for me. I enjoyed the workout - although

I'm sure I would have gotten more out of it if I were

a bit quicker on my feet and brain today. This one

uses some of the same moves as in the Cardio Party Mix

# 1 and # 2 workouts, but Chalene doesn't break down

the moves the way she does in the Cardio Party

workouts. Some of the same music is also used. The

workout is 30 minutes long and Chalene does two

combos, two turbos and then the " finale " and

cooldown/tai chi stretch. It is really nice for a

quickie and I think I can put more intensity into it

when my mind and body are on board. Afterwards I did

Cathe's Pure Strength, Chest, Shoulders and Biceps. I

used approximately the same weights as last week - I

must be challenging myself though 'cause I noticed

that I do two less reps than Cathe - I think Cathe

does 10-12 reps and I end up doing 8-10 reps with the

weight I'm using. I suppose to keep pace with her I

should lighten up. But, I rarely train " heavy " (for

me) so it is probably a good change up. I have one

week left of this rotation and then I'm not sure what

to do! I was thinking of doing Cathe's Cross Train

Express series or, if my other TJ package arrives I've

been thinking of putting together a rotation of Turbo

Jam and Slim Series.

Here's my check in for last week:

Sunday 3/26 - Living Arts Yoga for Weight Loss w/

Suzanne Deason

Monday 3/27 - Firm Express Cardio, Cathe PS Chest,

Shoulders & Triceps

Tuesday 3/28 - Cathe's IMAX and Pilates of some sort

(I forget which one!)

Wed 3/29 - Yoga Now - 30 Min Core Routine and Cathes

PS Back, Biceps and Abs

Thursday - 3/30 - Cathe's Cardio Kicks and Abs from

Kick, PUnch & Crunch

Friday - 7 Day Solution Cardio and Breakthru Core

Conditioning (Pilates)

Sat - Cathe's PS Legs (not quite as sore as I expected

after this one and I went heavier than last time!)

Food - so-so. I'm noticing that I'm much hungrier in

the morning and early afternoon and not too hungry at

dinner time. I'm therefore searching for something

that is healthy yet light and quick for dinner. My DD

eats a pretty good size lunch so she isn't often in

the mood for much at dinner and my DH gets home so

late that it is hard for us all to sit down to eat

together. I'm trying to think of some creative ideas

besides a bowl of cereal! I think I did relatively

okay with the junk though this past week. I'm sure

some or all of it is hormonal. If I think through my

cycle I'm hungriest the week before/during and then my

appetite decreases over time. Of course, most of my

food issues aren't about eating when hungry or being

too hungry - mostly it is the stress/emotional induced

eating that kills me! LOL! And, I " m going to be under

some stress soon with my " busy season " at work being

combined with selling/buying a house and moving. I

think I probably shouldn't keep food in the house

anymore! LOL!

Take care everyone!

Donna
