Guest guest
Hi Everyone- My son Ian who is 7 months old has been is his helmet for six weeks and is doing great overall. My problem is when he sleeps he rolls over on his side and sleeps (which he just started when got his helmet) and about halfway through the night he wakes and is soaked through his diaper. I have tried diaper doublers, different diapers, different sizes and no luck. Has anyone else experienced this? I have twin boys and they have slept through the night since 8 weeks old so I am not use to this gtting up in the middle of the night, how quickly we forget. Lately he has had the worst time going back to sleep and last night he was up from 2:30 till 6:15. Help I need my rest. -Ian & Sacramento, CA
Guest guest
I'm glad to hear that Ian is doing well in his band. I have never had the soaking through the diaper problem, but could you try putting rubber pants over the diaper like are sometimes used with cloth diapers? Or maybe you could put those really thick training pants over the diaper like kids where at night when they are potty training? Let us know what you find that works and here's hoping for some sleep tonight! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma

Guest guest
I never really examined it that closely, but I will be sure to check it out and make sure the angle is correct. Guest guest
Hey I envy you in the sleep department sleeps through the night but certainly not at 8 weeks:-) at any rate we have the leak problem as well- it is a tough one. sleeps pretty solid early in the night so he goes to bed at 8 and so before DH and I go to bed or when I get up for 's evening feeding I change him- in his criband all he wakes looks at me and rolls over- the only problem I have is you have to be quick but if Iam sleeps well change his diaper before you go to bed and that extra coupleof hours might get you through. Other than that the only other thing you could do is limit fluid intake after 6pm and that might help but you have to be careful with this summer heat, We use huggies nighttime diapers. Good luck beck
