my Sofia is getting her band tomorrow from Cranial Tech in Burbank. Their total

cost is $3733 which includes adjustments, fittings, etc... for the duration of

the band. We also have UHC and are 70% covered with a $400 deductible for

Durable Medical Equipment. We are still waiting for preauthorization and it can

be a nightmare talking to a different person everytime. Document as much as you

can each time you speak with someone. Good luck!

Ooops. O forgot to ask one more thing in my last post about the

insurance....for those of you not getting insurance coverage, can you give me

a ballpark estimate on what you think you have spent overall...doctors

visits, band fitting, adjustments, etc? I know the bands are running about

$4000, right? What do I have to look forward to in addition to that?
