Guest guest
ann, I'm so glad to hear that did better then expected in his new band. That's great! Bummer about the red spot, but sometimes it does take awhile to get the band fitting just right. Pretty soon will look so normal to you in the band that he will strange and unusual without it!! I never thought that could be true, but it is! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
Guest guest
Ann, All in all it sounds like is doing very well- CT should be able to do some adjustments to avoid that red spot again later. It really is harder on the parents than it is on the kids for the most part, but soon your husband will get over the initial shock of it and the goal at hand will be the motivating factor to keep that band on for optimum results. I burst into tears when I first saw the band on my son, and I had totally prepared myself by looking at other cutie pics with the band on- I was completely surprised by my reaction! But, it didn't take long for me to get over that sadness, and when you start seeing those magical results you'll realize it was all worth it, tears and all Don't worry about stares or comments, no one knows this problem like you do inside and out, and you are doing the best thing for your child! And I'm positive that given time, you will both feel that you have no regrets!! Keep us posted! ' Mom
