Guest guest Posted August 22, 2008 Report Share Posted August 22, 2008 My concern with this study was that it did not start with HCTZ first as was done in SHEP, MRFIT, ALLHAT, and HDFP and VA studies. I see no reason to use 2 drugs when 1 will do the job. Also if you read it the average fall in BP is the same as seen in HTN with the low sodium DASH.
