Guest guest
Hi Kate, Abby's had a swollen eye a few times in the morning, and I just figured that she did something in her sleep. Their skin is so incredibly sensitive, so it doesn't a whole lot of pressure or rubbing to make it swell. It went away soon after she was up, so while I noticed I didn't worry much about it. But what I want to tell you is the gal from CT discouraged me from exclusively side-sleeping Abby. She recommended that we should mostly sleep Abby flat on her back with her eyes looking at the ceiling (ideally) or flat on back with her head on the non-plagio side. Here's how she said we could get Abby to keep her head straight w/ eyes looking up: *we need socks, sand and a needle and thread *fill two socks with sand *put them along either side of Abby's head to create a bunker *sew them to crib sheet if necessary I haven't done it yet, but will rig something together over the weekend. If you try it with Paige, let me know how it goes. Happy 4th! Christy
