Guest guest
YIKES : I would definitely be freaking big time too! Didn't you say though that your last period was early May or so? Then you could possibly be 12 wks pregnant by now, so maybe that's why your levels are so high? I am hardly a Dr., but maybe that's an explanation...or else it could indeed be twins, maybe quadruplets, maybe septuplets???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL...I'm a big help huh???? Let us know! Debbie Abby's mom MI > ok all..here is the scoop..first off, if any of you don't know, i'm prego..thats about all I know..heres the deal..2 wks ago i went to the er for bleeding..they dx me with threatened miscarriage..they did blood work to test the hormone level..and an ultrasound both external and internal..they then said i was 4 wks and 5 days prego..but it was too soon to tell.they couldn't really see anything....well, then i had a check up last week and was fine...they then scedualed me for another ultrasound on the 8th (mon) ....today (fri) the nurse calls and says well we want you to come in today and do blood work cause we want your numbers to be 2000 and we are worried they won't be that high...so fine..i go....they call me back today with the results and say that the ultrasound is a go...but, now heres the interesting part..my blood hormone level is 17,000....ok..fine..i ask why is it so high..she says..either i am 12 wks along or its twins....TWINS...TWINS...OMG...what would i do with twins...not that twins are bad..but omg..so anyone who has had twins, is this what happened to you or what should i think..so happy i have 3 days to worry about this..NOT..any input would be greatfull..thanks > brenda > mom of tucker
Guest guest
TWINS...OMG...what would i do with twins...not that twins are bad..but omg.. LOL !! You would do the same thing with twins, as you would with any baby, except you would do it twice! I'm sorry you were dx with a threatened miscarriage, but it sounds like that baby (babies) of yours is quite a fighter! I never had a blood hormone level done, so I can't compare numbers with you. Even though I had horrible morning sickness (start expecting that!), it didn't dawn on me that I could be pregnant until I was about 11 weeks along...and what a shock that was!! I love having my twins, as well as my older two, but the twins are so fun to watch! They really do just about everything together, including painting the nursery is poo ;o) One time when my hubby took Kaylie to the store, Danny waited for her by the door. And when they did come home, Kaylie was so happy to see Danny, she kept saying, " My Danny, my Danny! " They both have their own beds, but they sleep together in just one of the beds. If you are having twins, you are really in for such a treat!! Good luck on Monday!!
