The dr had told us that will need to wear it for 6-8 weeks...b/c he'll be 5 month/ almost 6 months probably when he gets his helmet...and he is moderate (i hope he's not going to be considered severe). We have our appt on Wednesday to find out for sure that he's getting the helmet (which i know he is)...his head is pretty flat in the back... I'm just scared that they will say it's bad and he will need it for such a long time. Is your son's head flat in the back...or just on one side? Guest guest
Trisha, That's how 's head is...real flat in the whole back of his head..and flatter on his right side..behind his ear. But the dr had said that his forehead didn't start moving or his ears or anything..that was a month ago...so hopefully that hasn't changed. You made me have more hope than i had..b/c his head is pretty flat and i'm so afraid the helmet won't work...although the dr had said he's at a really good age to be corrected.... I'm glad everything worked out for Braeden!!
