Guest guest
We looked into the early intervention but he has to be at least 33% delayed in one area and he is less than that. He only has a mild case. And believe it or not, the PT that we go to is also the early intervention PT. I did ask my OT at CT what PT is like for babies and she said that my PT is doing the right thing so I kinda of feel better about that. The only problem with this PT is that screams with her. She is to loud for him. I don't know how to diplomatically tell her that my son likes to be spoken to softly. She just rubs me the wrong way. loves our OT because she is so gentle and speaks so softly to him. ann/ NJ DOCband > Message: 12 > Date: Wed, 10 Jul 2002 17:51:55 -0700 (PDT) > From: Andersen <christina_a444@...> > Subject: Re: Physical Therapy > > HI, > I'm so with you on this one. Guest guest
ann, You can tell her in a polite way that if she speaks softly to him, he won't cry. Tell her that when you need to soothe him you speak softly to him and it calms him right down! > We looked into the early intervention but he has to be at least 33% delayed in > one area and he is less than that. Each person has to determine if there child is doing ok with the pt- my pt had a lady switch from her to another, so don't be shy, to each his own. You can do it!
