Guest guest
I have a personal training client that has had his L ankle fused about 5 years ago as a result of a horrific fall. Not only did he break his ankle, he also suffered a compound fracture of his tibia & fibula (reset 10+ times) & his L leg is now ~28mm shorter than his R. He obviously has very limited ROM in the joint; approximately 5 degrees. As a result he has a significant imbalance (both strength & size) between his L & R calves. Just wondering if anyone on the list has had any experience & /or advice on training a client with such an injury?
