I'm so sorry to hear of all the garbage you've gone through in trying to get

proper treatment! It really is sad to see your hard work and effort all this

time end up to be just one big hassle. If you did decide to get another

band, I would recommend a DOC band, and they will band up to 2 years of age,

and there is angel flight if you needed to get there, with her being almost

1, the adjustments would not be as frequent. If you've decided that its not

worth the effort, I would still try to reposition her as much as possible,

and less time with activities on the back of her head (don't know if that's

even a problem if she's walking already, etc- she may already be off it for

the most part depending on where she is developmentally). Certainly with

sleep and nap time I would keep her off the flat spot as much as possible-

the skull is still maleable until 2. I just feel so bad for all that you

have had to put up with! Did you have her in the STARband- or were they

locally made bands? Just wanted you to know that if your still interested in

pursuing it, would probably still benefit with a band at her age- even

though I know your probably cringing at the thought of doing this all for a

3rd time! Good luck on whatever your decision, we are with you 100% on

whatever you decide, you are a great Mom and I hope you can keep us updated

on how she's doing.

I'm so, so sorry to hear of all the trouble you have had with banding. How

completely and totally frustrating! I hardly know what to say because I can only

imagine how I would feel in your situation. You seem to have a good handle on it

and seem good with your decision. I wish all the best to you and and I

hope you will continue to give us updates.
