I burst into tears like a big baby when I saw my son in one, and I had been soooo prepared with pics of other kids in the band, it just wasn't mine! You'll get through those emotions in a few days, and when you get that first adjustment, you'll be beaming with joy! Good luck and we all know what you are experiencing, and it too shall pass! Guest guest
Kayla received her helmet today. So far so good. She feel asleep in the car ride home and I don't think she even realizes that she has it on. I'm the one having a hard time adjusting. I just keep reminding myself that it is a good thing. I'll keep everyone posted as to how well she adjusts. P.S. - MCare denied the helmet so I'll be appealing soon. Fun. fun. fun. Kathy

Guest guest
Kathy, Its really good to hear from you! Sounds like Kayla is adjusting nicely to her helmet so far, I hope it continues to go well. It really is amazing how resilient babies are to this whole ordeal, it really is much harder on the parents! Good luck with your insurance appeal. And keep us up to date on how everything is going. Guest guest
Hooray for Kayla!!!!! So good to hear that you got good results with your passive helmet. That should make Taryn feel much better! My daughter got good results from her passive helmet too. Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
