Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if anyone would reply to my

whining!! but I am glad so many people did. All the support has been

great.

I have checked both the boards for physicians but none are

realistically close. The Cleveland contact listed on the CAPPS sight

recommended a specialist in Cleveland whom I have called for a

referral to someone in Columbus - they haven't called back yet but I

am hopeful.

We were supposed to see a " non-band friendly " specialist today but he

cancelled the appointment. They have rescheduled me to next

Tuesday. I have armed myself with tons of literature - both off the

internet and from the CT clinic. If he is anything like my current

ped, he won't even look at it. That is probably the most frustrating

part.

Anyway, before I get too long winded, thank you all for your support

and encouragement and I will keep you posted (but will try very hard

not to be too much of a whiner!)

Krisiti,

You really have a right to insist on the RX for the band if you really want

it even if the doc doesn't agree. I would push and push and not back down

with the specialist. I hope you are able to find a band friendly specialist

if it doesn't work with the guy on Tuesday.
