Guest guest
Hi I can't remember how long I was in bed after the workout, but I was in a coma for one week. According to Mike Mentzer I''ll recover sometime in December (it's been almost a year now since the workout). I don't have much memory of the workout now so it's very fortunate that I documented it: http://laserdonut.tripod.com/swissball.htm <http://laserdonut.tripod.com/swissball.htm> <http://laserdonut.tripod.com/ballexp.htm> Lately I've also done some research on powerlifting and hair style: http://laserdonut.tripod.com/hair.htm <http://laserdonut.tripod.com/hair.htm> and of course my supplement company (Lutefisk Supplements Advance Pharmaceuticals Inc) has made some breakthroughs: http://laserdonut.tripod.com/cla2.htm <http://laserdonut.tripod.com/cla2.htm> You've probably read all of my research but I believe it's unknown to authorities like Dr Yessis and others on this fine list. I'm looking forward to meeting you sometime when I come to California. Maybe we can do some swiss ball jumps down " The Stairs " . I have been enjoying Jan and his " off-beat " humor for a couple years now on a couple other lists. His " Plyometric Swiss Ball " spoof last year, complete with photos, was one of the funniest things on the web. Imagine jumping down a flight of stairs on a swiss ball to develop the ultimate in Plyo conditioning. I will say this, that type of training is certainly HIT. Maximum load, for a single rep and lots of DOMS as well as other " macro-trauma " with few training sessions. What was that Jan? Four weeks in bed after that workout? You'll find Jan's brand of humor a bit " slanted " but you have to figure that the winters in Scandinavia make some of them a bit restless. Jan in his own right has really turned up the heat in his personal " powerlifting " and seems to have taken " Westside " over to Oslo. By his latest reports, he is still breaking PR's each new outing. So each and every time he posts, you may need to ask, " Was he really serious? " Only Jan knows for sure. All the best, Regards, A.
