Guest guest
My son was diagnosed with moderate plagio. But from some of the pictures I've seen, 's isn't nearly as bad and I felt foolish making a big deal about him while others are so far worse. But the fact of the matter is, it does bother me, especially since his head was perfectly round before (we even called him Charlie Brown head because it was so perfectly round...) At 8 months, I didn't notice any difference and I became very concerned. We weren't told that we absolutely needed to do this. We were told it was up to us - just like getting braces - some parents elect to do it and some don't. I too wanted them to tell me that it was a bad case and that he absolutely needed the band. Bottom line is regardless of how mild it is, if it bothers you, do something about it because you may regret it in the future and that guilt will be with you forever. At least that is what I felt. In terms of others telling you it will round out, I feel every kid is different and for some it rounds and some it doesn't. I didn't want to take the chance to see if it would because once you are certain it won't round, it will be too late to correct. ann/ NJ DOC 1 week > Message: 21 > Date: Wed, 26 Jun 2002 03:02:43 -0000 > From: " jketcline " <kmccpa@...> > Subject: ' Consultation : ( > > Well, > > We drove three hours to Cleveland with construction almost the entire > way.
