Guest guest
Hey to Southern Californian-ers who are using at Cranial Therapies in Burbank! I wanted to add here, we were approved by our BCBS HMO and it basically says in their little "rules" section that if the Primary Care Ped. recommends it the insurance has to pay...did you get rec'd from your ped or was it an "outside" person?(forgive me, I can't remember WHO was having the difficulty w/ the ins) Sometimes a letter of medical necessity, as difficult as it is to get out of the occasional jackass pediatrician out there, is all you need to make a strong case to the ins. board. Guest guest
Hi - I have BCBS of Texas and I live in Kansas. What we have found out is that the company my husband works for is self insured (corp headquarters is in Texas) - which is good because they are not subject to state regulations and laws. BCBS only administers the plan. It would be worth contacting the Company's Benefits coordinator to get better information regarding questions especially if it's not clear in the " handbooks " .
