Our insurance right now is Anthem Health of NY/Beech St...

But as of August 1st..our insurance will be changing to Guardian/PHCS ...so the one thing that we might be able to do if we can't win with this insurance co is wait till August (which he probably can't get his helmet till then anyway..b/c the lab will be closed for 2 weeks)...and try and get the new company to pay. But i don't know..it's confusing.

The lady at CT didn't give me a reason why they won't cover it. She kept repeating ..they just won't cover it. I told her that we have a letter of medical necessity..so i don't understand. But my husband did get in contact with a guy at the insurance comapny who seemed like he may be more help...so hopefully we'll find out more tomorrow.

I have a feeling we will have to do an appeal...but i'm hoping they will pay something...
