When we did our TV interview in May, the therapist at CT was very clear to

the reporter that is called a " doc " band. Good luck with the doctor today.

Ive always wondered this myself but never asked. And Myas been in her

band 4 months. So is it doc and in doctor or doc with a long o. The

first doctor that referred us to the doctor in charlotte called it

the doc band with a long o but then after that I only heard it

called " the band "

Yes, doc as in doctor. At least that's how us Texans say it.

That's how I say it here in Philly. But then again, we're not known

for being too articulate ;o) My ortho also pronounced it 'doc' as in

doctor
