Hey there, how are ya??? doing ok here on the edge of my seat waiting to findo out what the doc says....I'm not sure what the exact first two sets were. I honestly think that they were your basic blood panels w/CBC. Both of them he said were usually normal high range of 40, one of mine ready 45 & the other 78. I re-tested a week later and they had both gone up higher. He asked if I had gained alot of wt....I was like "Hello, you have my chart and weigh me everytime I come in..." but I told him "No" which I hadnt. they had me come back last Thursday to have a full Hepatic panel, Hepatitis comprehensive panel & Anit-Smooth Muscle AB. I have the lab form on my desk at work but I think that is what it was. Hey any input would greatly be appreciated....Gotta run its getting late...Thanks a ton, Trisha

Yikes! Girl, you need a break! Do you know what liver test they did that was high? Was it an enzyme or some sort of antibody test? I'm a med tech, and although it's been a few years, I still remember some of my 5 years of college chemistry classes. I also still have a really good clinical chemistry book. Are you looking for any specific information? Let me know what you need and I'll try and come up with some info. Take it easy.

Hey everyone, I hate to ask you guys this but I am in need of some GLV here. I dont know how many of you may or may not know but I am 33 and was diagnosed with discoid lupus (of the skin) 10 years ago then 5 years later it was diagnosed as systemic (can affect my vital organs) so for the last 5 years my ANA Lupus antibodies have been there w/no real signs of worsening. Last week I went in for my every 3 mo blood work, 2 days later I got a call that they were abnormal I needed to go back for a follow up. Well it was my liver the normal high level is 40 (thats what they told me) and I was at 78 so I went in for the re-test and it has gone up even more I didnt ask what it went up to because I was so scared I didnt really want to know. Anywho, I had to go back again yesterday to have a full liver work up dont and a full hepatitis panel done. The Nurse said they dont think it is Hep. but they have to run it to rule it out before they refer me to a specialist. I wont know the results of these until next Tuesday so I am a little scared. I have 2 young kids and I am so afraid my lupis is getting worse and setting into my liver. I hate to seem like I always have "Bad News" but I cant help it. On a good note my Grandma is doing Great, crabby as ever and Braeden only has 1 more week left of the helmet and has a beautiful head! stinky but beautiful. So if you guys can just keep your fingers crossed for me. And if anyone here knows about Lupus and your Liver PLEASE let me know what you do. Thanks Again, Trisha ( mom of Braeden and Drake)
